パスワード付きZIPファイルの送受信禁止について

昨今、国内外においてランサムウェアによるサイバー攻撃が急増しており、企業の情報資産や業務継続に深刻な影響を及ぼす事例が多数報告されています。2025年には、国内の複数企業において数百万件規模の個人情報漏洩や基幹システムの停止といった重大な被害が確認されており、社会的にも大きな問題となっております。

これらの攻撃の多くは、メール添付ファイルを経由した感染が確認されており、特に「パスワード付きZIPファイル（通称：PPAP）」は、ウイルス対策ソフトによる検知を回避しやすく、攻撃者に悪用されるリスクが高い形式とされています。

このような背景を踏まえ、弊社ではすでに、パスワード付きZIPファイルの送受信を全面的に禁止しております。社外の皆様におかれましても、弊社とのファイルのやり取りに際しては、以下の代替手段をご利用いただきますようお願い申し上げます。

【禁止対象】

  • パスワード付きZIPファイルのメール添付送信
  • パスワードを別メールで通知する形式（PPAP）

【代替手段】

  • 暗号化されたクラウドストレージ（OneDrive, Box, Dropbox等）を利用したファイル共有
  • パスワードを設定していない通常のファイル（Excel, Word, PDF等）を直接添付する方法

Prohibition of Password-Protected ZIP File Transfers

We sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation.

In recent years, ransomware attacks have surged both domestically and internationally, causing serious disruptions to business operations and compromising sensitive information. In 2025 alone, multiple companies in Japan experienced large-scale data breaches and system outages, highlighting the growing threat to corporate cybersecurity.

Many of these attacks have been traced back to infected email attachments. In particular, password-protected ZIP files (commonly known as “PPAP”) are often used to bypass antivirus detection, making them a high-risk format that can be exploited by malicious actors.

In light of these risks, our company has already implemented a complete ban on the sending and receiving of password-protected ZIP files. We kindly ask all external partners to use the following alternative methods when exchanging files with us.

🚫 Prohibited Formats

  • Password-protected ZIP files sent via email
  • Sending passwords in a separate email (PPAP format)

✅ Accepted Alternatives

  • Secure cloud storage platforms (e.g., OneDrive, Box, Dropbox) for encrypted file sharing
  • Unprotected standard file formats (Excel, Word, PDF, etc.) attached directly to emails
